Evergreen beamed at Michelle. "Thankyouthankyou!" she clasped her hands together.

So Leon and Michelle went about checking the stores for the certain ingredients that the stall needed. The first obvious choice was to go to the convenience store, but if there were no options they would have to try other food shops that would have the ingredients.

Maria smiled widely. "Well, I think we have all we need here. But nice to meet you, Terra! I think this event will be really interesting. Do you like dancing? If you do, make sure you grab a good seat, okay? I'm looking forward to seeing how this will play out."

Evergreen made a face at Michelle. "I... guess it must be not obvious to find the ingredients. A specialty store would be an idea."

Leon led Evergreen and Michelle through the crowd to approach a candy store. If gummies were indeed what the crepe store needed, then this was a good start. They walked into the store and were met with a brilliant display of sweets of every kind. Candies lined up on the shelves and chocolates of different kinds lined up in neat rows, separated by flavours. At once, Evergreen looked like she was distracted by the display.

Maria smiled again at Terra. "Well, if you're here to help, you can start by checking the lights. This is the Neon Colosseum, after all! We'll need to make sure that the stage gets all the attention it deserves. Then you have the exterior lights for everyone else outside to see!"

 

(Now it's my turn to find time to write haha. And somehow I get the feeling this RP is turning into a crime drama. How about that Team Magma attempts to sabotage the tournament in the hopes of cancelling it altogether?)

Evergreen looked at Michelle. "Hey, want a gummy? They're really tasty."

Leon chuckled and went to examine the kinds of gummies that the store needed. He could go for the more conservative and conventional flavours or try an ambitious one.

After Maria had sent Terra on her way, she went to discuss with Rosie on the other trivial matters of the stage. Soundtracks, audio equipment, and monitors were next on the agenda, as well as the battle operations. This event promised to be interesting.

 

(Kidnap Michelle... Now that's an idea)

"Aw... You're no fun..." Evergreen muttered.

"Evergreen. Focus," Leon said, agreeing with Michelle. He looked at the stock of gummies again to pick out the 'sky' flavoured gummies as well as a gold gummy for Evergreen. Evergreen's eyes visibly glittered when Leon got her the gummy and she nibbled on it happily as they left the candy store.

Now that they were out on Main Street again, Leon turned his attention to the list. "Okay, so next on the list is Nomel berry leaves. How hard can that be?"

Rosie walked to where Terra was supposed to be, or at least where the foot of the ladder was. "Everything going okay there?"

 

"Oh? Then you must know what it looks like, then," Leon said to Michelle. Soon enough, they were on the outskirts of the city, near Sunny Park, where there was a vast expanse of green grass and trees. Occasionally, there would be gardeners tending to their trees and berries around here. The environment was very peaceful, with a light breeze flowing through the park to give a breath of fresh air.

Evergreen munched on her gold gummy happily. "Hmm. Know any tips on finding what's good or bad, Michelle?" she asked. She approached the nearest set of trees where berries were growing. Now it was just a matter of picking out the Nomel berry leaves.

As for the Neon Colosseum, Maria waved for Terra to come closer. "Right! You two! Now check the music playlist. I think we have a good one, so just check out if the sound is working. I mean, Rosie has to go through the list anyway."

 

"H-hey! I'm not that clueless! Just that I don't go berry picking a lot," Evergreen protested. She finished her gold gummy and nevertheless kept an eye out on the pointed leaves as Michelle described. Moments later, she came out using her psychic powers to carefully bring the leaves to Leon. It was like she was afraid to touch any leaves now.

"Doing okay, Evergreen? Ah, let's see..." Leon looked at the leaves closely. "I wonder what sort of recipe you could possibly make from these. Well, I think these seem good enough. So you have gummies, leaves..." As he took the not-poisonous leaves, he took a moment to appreciate the view before him. He didn't get to walk around Sunny Park that often, so this was a good chance to look around.

"One of the 'greatest'? I've got to listen to it," Rosie said to Terra. "Mind if I take a listen?"

Maria grinned. "If it is that good, I wonder how it will play out on the floor. It'll be fun."

 

"It really is," Leon replied. "Do you like it here? Maybe when there's time, we should come back here." He could see the grass - almost lime green - and the trees offering shade when they needed it. "It would be nice when it isn't crowded either." Above them, some trees were blossoming with leaves and petals, and some even had berries growing on them to let watchers know that harvest time was near.

Evergreen meanwhile was trying to hide her blush given that Michelle had laughed at her. Like, did she say something that made her laugh? Evergreen had no idea. Also, did it seem like Michelle and Leon were having a moment? Not wanting to disturb them, Evergreen stepped aside. "Uh... I'm just going to rest on this bench here. You two go on ahead."

Maria made a face at Terra. "I don't know..."

"That's sus," Rosie scratched her head.

 

While Evergreen was seated on the bench, Leon looked at the list. "Let's see. The last item is... Huh? A Gabite scale? How are we supposed to get that at all?"

He stared off, as if thinking where it was possible to get one. Also, was it even edible?

As for Rosie and Maria, they took the unsuspecting CD. "Okay, well, let's hope it plays well," Rosie said.

Maria giggled. "You're already acquainted with us already. Come now, you're giving us too much credit."

 

"Habitat... We're probably not going to find it near the city. There are some habitats around this island we can explore. Hmm, what sort of habitat should we look for to find a Gabite?" Leon wondered.

Evergreen waved at him. "Um, probably not in a park like this one."

Meanwhile, preparations for the Neon Colosseum were proceeding as expected. Maria and Rosie continued to supervise the setup and also the position of the stands in the tower - the same tower where the colosseum was attached to. Overcrowding was to be expected, so accommodations had to be made so that there were stands in the surrounding towers.
